At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify potential benefits of collaborating on a housing development project
- Recognize reasons why collaborations are valuable in the housing development process and key principles to guide collaborative relationships
- Identify key questions and decisions for their organization to consider when assessing readiness to pursue housing development
- Use templates to explore organizational readiness to pursue housing development
- Reflect on and document the organization’s early thinking and decisions during pre-feasibility
- Understand the go/no-go decision points that help determine whether an organization is ready to proceed to the feasibility stage
- Reflect on how faith-based organizations undertook housing development projects in different regional, temporal and economic contexts

This toolkit supports early stage exploration of collaboration opportunities for faith groups and non-profit housing providers in the development of affordable housing. It offers ideas, examples and tools to support thoughtful collaboration and informed conversations and decision-making.
